TERMS AND CONDITIONS – YOUR STYLE HAIR AND TANNING BOUTIQUE
Our cancellation policy is a minimum of 24 hours’ notice – (short notice)
Everyone gets one free “miss” without having to pay for the reservation.
Failing to give us a 24 hours’ notice after one “miss” appointment will be resulting in our cancellation fee. Our fee is 50% of your arranged appointment.
The deposit of £50 will be charged on the consultation day and will not be refunded at a short notice of cancellation. Free hair consultation should be arranged before your hair colouring appointment. If an appointment is not scheduled, the salon will contact the client to arrange one.
Appointments which are considerably altered at short notice will have to pay a 20% fee of the initial total booking price on top of their current altered service. This appointment alteration policy only applies to colouring appointments such as highlights, full head colour, sombre/ombre & balyage.
We respect your time and when you ask for a reservation we are happy to make it for you. Once we’ve reserved that time for you we turn away business for that time frame because we have promised it to you.
Please arrive in plenty of time for your appointment. Regretfully late arrival will constitute reduced treatment time but will be charged at the full rate.
Your Style Hair & Tanning Boutique is able to change the conditions of any offers at any time. The Friend Referral Offer is Only Redeemable On First Appointment for New Clients and Next Appointments for the Recommender. 10% Off can be redeemed for referred New Clients to Your Style Hair & Tanning Boutique. 10% Off can be Redeemed by a Person who is an existing client to Your Style Hair & Tanning Boutique and is referring to a New Client. Offers with a specific stylist are subject to change and appointments must be made with said stylist for offer to be valid. We reserve the right to confirm the identity and contact details of the recommender as well as pull back the offers. All offers are not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. No Cash Alternative.
Sunbed courses are valid for 3 months from the purchase day and are non-transferable. Your Style Hair & Tanning do not take responsibility in the event of the customer losing their course card; we do not keep any record.
New clients required to have a patch test a minimum of 24 hours before the appointment. Clients must honestly disclose information regarding their hair which could affect the outcome of our colouring services e.g. previous recent use of box dye or henna.
GIFT VOUCHERS & LOYALTY CARDS
Gift vouchers are valid for a term of 6 months from the date of purchase. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or used against any other offers or retail products. You cannot redeem or exchange a loyalty card for a voucher. You cannot use a loyalty card alongside any special offers, discounts or packages.
If you have any medical conditions or requirements that we should take into account during your appointment or tanning session, please let us know when booking the appointment. For example, heart conditions, cancer, epilepsy, diabetes require doctor’s approval (which the salon can process on your behalf). Any contagious or skin conditions etc. should be fully cleared before making an appointment to avoid risk to staff and other clients. Failure to inform us could result in a late cancellation fee being charged to your account.
HEALTH AND SAFETY - TANNING
Staff will inform clients of the safest and most appropriate exposure time for the clients' skin type. If a client heavily insists on a longer exposure against the staffs' advice, the client holds their own responsibility if skin irritation occurs. Your Style Hair & Tanning Boutique reserves the right to refuse our Tanning Service to any clients who might put themselves at risk by using UVA equipment. No one under the age of 18 may use the tanning bed. ID will be asked to be presented if customer looks under 25. Children are not allowed in the SUNBED room nor allowed to wait downstairs.
Payments can be made by debit and credit card or cash, we do not accept cheque.
All prices are correct at the time of print and are subject to alteration without prior not notice.
If clients are feeling unwell or have been in close contact with someone who is sick with COVID, we advise clients to inform the Salon and not attend their appointment. Clients will not be charged our short notice cancellation fee if they email us a positive test result or proof of illness (prescriptions or Doctor’s note).
Choice of the stylist may not be guaranteed, however, Your Style Boutique endeavours to supply clients’ preferred stylist. If, however, a Stylist falls unwell on the day of the appointment, the customer will be contacted to reschedule a new appointment when the stylist is next available or assigned to another available stylist.
BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT
All employees of Your Style Hair & Tanning Boutique have the right to work without the fear of abuse, assault, insult, intimidation or humiliation. We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw services without notice and at any time, either prior to, during or post-treatment. Any violence or abuse directed at our staff will result in matters being followed up with the police.
